Organic Product Certification

Organic Agriculture is a production system that sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people. It relies on ecological processes, biodiversity and cycles adapted to local conditions, rather than the use of inputs with adverse effects. Organic Agriculture combines tradition, innovation and science to benefit the shared environment and promote fair relationships and a good quality of life for all involved.

 

Organic product: plant and animal products intended for human consumption and animal feeding that are produced, processed and handled in accordance with certain standards of organic agricultural production, prohibits the use of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and products, synthetic chemical fertilizers, pesticides, regulators and feedstuff additives in agriculture production with respect to natural rules and ecological theories, and with coordinated balance between plant and animal production.


Chinese National Organic Program

 

CHTC’s certification programs and protocols are approved by CNCA, the competent authority which is in charge of certification. CHTC has also been accredited by CNAS, the only accreditation body in China. CHTC offers China organic product certification services according to China National Organic Product Standard (GB/T 19630-2011). The products will be sold legally as organic products in Chinese market only with the certification according to GB/T 19630-2011. 

 

The certification scope includes:

Organic plant (crop, mushroom, wild collection)

Organic animal husbandry (livestock and poultry breeding, aquaculture)

Organic product processing (food, feed, textile)

 


CHTC Organic Program (being in recognition process of European organic scheme)

 

CHTC provides EU organic certification according to CHTC organic standard (equivalent standard to EC Regulations 834/2007, 889/2008). The certification is the way to prepare organic products destined for EU markets. CHTC is subject to recognition process as competent to carry out controls outside EU of organic food and operators for the purpose of equivalence and export of products into the EU Member States according to EU regulations.

 

The certification scope includes:

Unprocessed plant products (crop production, wild collection, mushroom cultivation)

Processed agricultural products for use as food
